We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to work in our Miami office

Are you passionate about logistics and shipping? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We are an internationally recognized global logistics company seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee critical operations from our Miami office.

Reporting to: Director of Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage agent shipment files ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Oversee equipment management, including proactive repatriation to lessors and coordination with connecting carriers.
• Maintain and manage shipment tracking dashboards focused on identifying expected delays and implementing contingency plans.
• Work closely with transshipment gateways to ensure efficient connectivity.
• Coordinate with multimodal vendors including truck, sea, and air freight providers.
• Review and approve vendor invoices, assisting in dispute resolution when necessary.

Candidate Profile:

• 3-5 years minimum experience in logistics, preferably within liner services, NVOCC, or freight forwarding.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in the Caribbean region.
• Strong critical thinking and creative analytical skills.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and proactive problem solving.
• Passionate about logistics and shipping.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Strong geographical knowledge relevant to logistics routes and operations.
• Bi-lingual proficiency is essential (Spanish and English)
• Must have the right to work in the USA
