Kestrel Liner Agencies appointed as Irish agency for OOCL

Since arriving in Ireland in November 2015, Kestrel Liner Agencies has continued to increase services to its Irish and Northern Irish customers and is excited to reveal that the growth continues!

Kestrel is delighted to announce that it has been appointed to operate as agent in Ireland for one of the world’s leading container lines, OOCL, covering both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Kestrel will officially commence operations on 1st March 2016, and represent OOCL from its office in Dublin.

OOCL is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal companies. It provides containerised liner services on the Trans-Atlantic, Asia-Europe and Australia-New Zealand trades, and has a long history of serving Ireland.

This is fantastic news for Kestrel in Ireland. Bob Kevitt, Director, said “We are delighted that OOCL has decided to appoint us as their agents in Ireland.  This highlights how Kestrel is a leading Liner Agency, both in the UK and Ireland.”

“Kestrel Ireland is honoured to take up this mantle and to complement OOCL’s global reach with our localised focus to Northern Irish and Irish customers. We have a dedicated, experienced and professional team and look forward to welcoming existing and new customers and enquiries.”

Working with our new principal we will ensure there is a seamless transition, and both parties will continue to provide a quality service.
