Kestrel Global Logistics help keep the lights on at Roatan, Bay Islands

Roatan, Bay Islands, just of the northern coast of Honduras, is known as one of the best diving sites in the Caribbean. Recent years have seen a dramatic increase in tourism which in turn resulted in the need for a better electricity supply infra-structure.
Wartsila, a company based in Finland are currently in the process of installing a Smart Power Generation plant which will ensure that the power supply will remain constant and overall reduce costs.
Shipping the power plant from Finland to Roatan was no mean feat. Kestrel Global Logistics where instructed as the NVOCC to help them. With many years’ experience in shipping freight, Kestrel were the perfect partners in this project who ensured that all cargo was delivered successfully and in budget.
