Hezron Brown overcame an early life of gang-related crime to become a Pride Of Britain Winner in 2019 - and it all changed when a court judge made a decision that changed his path forever.
After bullies targeted him at school, Hezron grew up angry and used violence to cope. He drifted into gang-related crime and eventually stood before a court. As he faced a prison sentence, a judge asked how he had ended up there and chose not to send him to jail.
That decision changed the course of his life.
Hezron returned to education and secured a job in local theatre through the @kingstrust, where he impressed many others with his work ethic.
He later became an ambassador for the charity, delivering motivational talks and helping young people at risk avoid the path he once took.
